Beyond One Snack
The first problem was narrow: lackluster pretzels. The founders’ response became larger when they established Eastern Standard Provisions as an artisanal food brand in Boston in 2018. They defined a buttery, chewy alternative with a brioche-like middle and a traditional Bavarian crust, then set the mission to "elevate the snack food experience." The brand reports Waltham, MA as its headquarters.
The original soft pretzel remains clearly specified. It is handcrafted with high-quality ingredients and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, pairing an airy brioche-style interior with a more structured, traditional Bavarian-style crust.
